Our young people fall into the clutches of addiction in this period due to situations such as curiosity, emulation, the influence of friends, and the feeling of being alone.
Addiction is the uncontrollable desire to consume a substance that individuals start to use for many reasons. It is the use of a substance or the continuation of a behavior even though it is known and understood to cause harm. The basic criterion in addiction is that it harms the individual. However, addiction directly affects not only the addicted individual, but also his/her family, peer relations and social environment.
Struggling with the Addiction
There is no doubt that a person does not come to the point of addiction all at once, this process proceeds step by step. These steps are serious and important signs that addiction is developing. Therefore, following and controlling these steps is very important for the prevention and prevention of addiction before it starts.
