Our Board Member, Assist. Prof. Ayhan Cankut participated as a speaker in the panel titled "Heroes of the National Forces on the 101st Anniversary of Çukurova's Liberation" at the İlhan Yücel Conference Hall.
Assist Prof. Cankut, explained the organization of the Kuva-yı Milliye in line with the directives of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the subsequent liberation struggle against the occupation, the heroes of the Kuva-yı Milliye, the "Battle of the Karboğazı", "the atrocities and massacres perpetrated by the Armenians" and the "Fight and Run Incident". In the last part, the documentary prepared on the subject was watched and the message was given that knowing our history will reinforce our national consciousness and unity and that the recurrence of similar events can only be prevented in this way.
